Effective 2026-08-14. How Trusty handles your information. Short version: Trusty collects as little as possible and never sells it.
Trusty is operated by Number Go Up LLC, doing business as Trusty.
1. What Trusty collects
The business names and locations you ask Trusty to check; checkout details handled by Trusty's payment processor (Trusty never sees or stores full card numbers); any messages you send Trusty for support, a correction, or a deletion request; basic site measurement; and, only after you choose “Allow measurement,” Google advertising measurement such as ad visits and completed purchases. You can decline or change your choice using “Measurement choices” in the footer. Browser Global Privacy Control signals keep Google measurement off. Advertising measurement may use a campaign click identifier or browser storage to connect an ad visit with a purchase. Trusty does not require an account to get a read.
2. How Trusty uses it
To produce the read you asked for, process your payment, answer your messages, keep the service secure and working, and understand in aggregate what's useful. That's it.
3. Who Trusty shares it with
The service providers that make the site work, including payment processing, hosting, email delivery and fonts, plus analytics or advertising measurement providers such as Google when enabled — and only as needed. Trusty disables ad-personalization signals in its Google Ads tag and may disclose information if required by law. Trusty does not sell your personal information or build or sell a private profile about you.
Some fonts load from Adobe Fonts. Your browser connects to Adobe to retrieve them, which shares your IP address and the hostname of the page. Adobe says it does not store that IP address or use cookies to serve fonts. See Adobe’s font privacy details.
4. The reads are about businesses, not you
A Trusty read is based on public customer reviews and other public information about a business. It is commentary on a business's public record — not a dossier about you, the reader.
5. Your rights (CCPA / GDPR and similar)
You can ask Trusty to access, correct, delete, or stop using your information, or to opt out of any sale (there is none). Email disputes@trytrusty.com. Trusty verifies identity-sensitive requests before acting and will not discriminate against you for exercising a right.
6. Retention and security
Trusty keeps information only as long as needed for the purpose above or as the law requires and uses reasonable safeguards to protect it. No method is perfectly secure.
7. Children
Trusty is for adults making purchasing and trust decisions and is not directed to children under 18.
